Gay Castings Review
Video Quality
Their videos top out at 1080p (which is full high definition, of course). I wouldn’t call them the best-quality HD videos you’ll find out there, but they’re fine enough. Maybe because they’re going after the casting niche, they don’t quite have a polished feel to them, but I don’t think you’ll complain too much.
Photo Quality
The photos actually look better than the videos do, by comparison. They come in at a pretty average size of 1500×1125, but the coloring, lighting, composition, and all of it combine to make them look pretty nice overall.
Content Quantity

Updates
Unfortunately, the growth is anything but consistent. Sometimes you’ll get a new scene after a couple of weeks, but other times, you have to wait a couple of months before something new is posted. They need to get way more consistent (and frequent) with their updates.
Navigation & User Interface
The site is very simple all around, but at least it looks decent. A few weird oddities include having to find this site in a list of their sites to narrow the content down, and then no real search or tag features beyond that. It’s not a huge site, so it’s not a huge deal, but I’d love to see them make things more advanced here.
Site Speed
Browsing the site was pretty quick all around for me. Checking the site out on a mobile device was quick and painless. And the same goes for browsing on a desktop, which loaded quickly as well. Video downloads were near my max speed, so there’s no real room to complain here at all.

Price / Value
The discount is a pretty hefty one, which is awesome to see. However, the site isn’t huge, and the updates are slow and inconsistent at best. Because of that, I’d put this one kinda low on the value scale overall.

Final Recommendation
Gay Castings is an okay site at the end of the day, but there are several things holding them back from really competing with some of the more modern sites out there unfortunately.
It starts with their lackluster size. It’s not terrible. We’ve definitely seen sites that have under 30 scenes up, so it’s not nearly that bad. But it’s more the inconsistency in the updates (and the fact that they often take a month or more to come) that’s the bigger issue. The mediocre size is just a symptom of that.
Also, while they have 1080p HD videos, they’re not exactly the best HD you’ll find out there. They get the job done, but there are a few little quality issues here and there that hold them back.
Plus, the site is a bit plain in terms of the navigation. It’s not a huge deal since the site isn’t huge or anything, but it’s one more area where they’re a little behind the times.
The discount, on the other hand, is great to see. You save 40% a month and can join Gay Castings for just $18 a month, which is about as cheap as you’ll find out there for any paysite. If you’re looking for gay guys trying out to get into the porn scene, Gay Castings could be worth a look to check out their offerings. It’ll be up to you if the weird updates are enough of a reason to dip out early.
